Directly from parents/guardians when they submit an entry or register on our site.

9. Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the competition and to meet legal obligations. Typical retention periods:

Entry media and public gallery items: retained while the contest and associated promotional periods are active, and archived for up to 6 months for recordkeeping unless otherwise requested by a parent/guardian.
Contact and consent records: retained for 1 year to demonstrate compliance with consent obligations (or longer if required by law).

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. However, no system is completely secure. If a security incident affects children's data, we will follow applicable breach-notification laws and notify affected parents/guardians and regulators when required.

12. Parents' and guardians' rights

Parents/guardians may:

Withdraw previously granted consent for future use. Withdrawal will not affect processing already completed while the consent was valid.
